We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Head of Growth / Marketing

Job Location: Lagos

Your Mission


  • We are looking for a seasoned head of marketing who can help grow the Glovo brand while formulating and executing new strategies to acquire new customers in Nigeria.
  • This person must be highly analytical, a self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment.

The Journey

  • Define Glovo’s Marketing strategy for Nigeria cluster together with the Regional Marketing Director  
  • Lead the execution of the marketing plans and track performance on the agreed growth goals
  • Understand the local media landscape and define the right mix of digital / non-digital investment to maximize user base growth within the agreed CAC targets
  • Define promotional, pricing, and point-of-sale strategy
  • Manage the cluster marketing budget

What You Will Bring to the Ride

  • Minimum of 5  years of Marketing experience in a similar role at a leading FMCG blue chip company or fast-growing tech company
  • Highly analytical and comfortable dealing with high-growth and complex business challenges
  • Proven track record of delivering business growth, experience defining investment strategy, and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and non-digital channels
  • Strong consumer understanding skills
  • Have a deep understanding of paid, owned, and earned media channels, being comfortable tracking and reporting on established performance marketing KPIs
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and TV 
  • Proficient in English

2.) Junior Category Buyer

Job Location: Lagos

Your Mission

  • You will work hand-in-hand with the Jr Category Buyer in all tasks related to our assortment:  from analyzing market trends and defining listings to prospecting suppliers, and negotiating commercial conditions.

The Journey

  • Be the owner and specialist of assigned categories, being able to move the needle and see the impact of your work on the business by managing the MFCs assortment from end to end. Your main KPIs will be Category Add-to-Cart, Average Order Value and Gross Margin.
  • Define the assortment strategy, identifying opportunities of improvement in listings and margin, and implementing them.
  • You will work hand in hand with the Ads team in defining and implementing marketing campaigns inside the store. 
  • Be responsible for offering an amazing shopping experience by categorizing & sorting the assortment based on user needs. (only when there’s no Merch Team)
  • Support the products pricing definition. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to e-commerce and retail, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the category management function.
  • Manage mid-sized vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-to-day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds per the market requirements and company needs
  • Review contract terms and conditions ensuring that they are as favorable to the business interests as possible, minimize risk, and are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures (with support from the Commercial Manager and legal department)
  • Collaborate with the Senior Category Buyer and other cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align category strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.

What You Will Bring to the Ride

  • 2+ years of experience in Retail as a category manager or in FMCG in Sales/Account Management positions. 
  • Strong analytical skills, willing to test and solve problems based on data.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing, high-growth, and high-performance start-up with a fast pace
  • Negotiation skills: the ability to address multiple contract terms (costs, assortment, service levels) to obtain a positive outcome. .
  • Stakeholder management: both internally and externally.
  • Fluent in English. Additional language skills are a plus.

3.) Head of Q-Commerce

Job Location: Lagos

  • You will act and operate as a startup within a startup, so you must be a builder.

The Journey

  • Be the owner of groceries P&L
  • Manage Q-Commerce local team
  • Be the owner of our disruptive Micro Fulfillment Center business inside the city, operating a network of warehouses and a large team
  • Work with a cross-functional team (marketing, operations, finance…) to achieve quick and flawless execution
  • Lead project implementation analysis and translate it into actionable tasks to ensure continuous improvement
  • Give visibility to main stakeholders of the project status and follow up on next steps
