We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Customer Relationship / Project Manager

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Managing Director

Key Summary of the Job


  • Coordinate and handle all aspects of project execution.
  • Manage and oversee communication with clients, pre and post project execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of furniture delivery and installation from start to finish.
  • Coordinate the activities of the Installation team on site.
  • Liaise with all internal teams and ensure that all technical requirements are incorporated in the project design and installation documentations.

Task Complexities:

  • Prepare detailed program of works for all projects and ensure timelines are strictly adhered to.
  • Work with Interior Designers and Technical department to meet Clients’ requirements
  • Schedule pre-installation meetings and post-installation walkthrough with the installers, Interior Designers and Technical team.
  • Plan and supervise product delivery and installation, including performance of work,
  • Provide timely and formal written communication throughout projects execution period and disseminate all critical information to all project stakeholders
  • Oversee all aspects of project implementation and client communication.
  • Carry out site inspection to determine site readiness.
  • Attend site meetings and act as point of contact for clients for all project communication during execution process.
  • Conduct quality inspection of work done on site by the installation team, identify and resolve snags within the specified timelines as per policy.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions as per clients /project requests and revisions.
  • Provide weekly project status update during operational meetings.

Education & Experience

  • First Degree in Science or Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience as a customer relationship/ project manager (previous work experience within the furniture manufacturing industry is an added advantage).
  • Experience with ERP systems

2.) Technical Officer (Furniture Manufacturing)

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line- Head, Commercial & Projects

Key Summary of the Job

  • Produce detailed working/production drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare cutting list and accessories list for production and installation.
  • Analyze furniture pieces to ascertain production requirements.
  • Co-ordinate project planning and material breakdown.
  • Visit projects and clients' sites to take accurate dimensions.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor installation progress.

Task Complexities:

  • Prepare cutting list and accessories list for production and installation.

  • Make material requisition and ensure adequacy of materials for production.
  • Engage in material evaluation and planning with the procurement department
  • Materials and tools analysis for projects execution and installation.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor installation progress.
  • Visit projects and clients' sites to take accurate dimensions.
  • Engage with other departments within the company to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Engage with production team all through the process of manufacturing and installation of furniture and fittings.
  • Evaluate and resolve issues relating to materialsrequisition for projects and retail orders.
  • Evaluate and plan rectification of all snags and errors.
  • Ensure work is performed as planned and to specification by adhering with the company quality assurance manual.

Education & Experience

  • A Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience in a furniture manufacturing company.

3.) Interior Designer / Project Manager

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: Head, Commercial & Projects

Key Job Summary

  • To coordinate and handle all aspects of project execution
  • Advise clients on interior design factors, analyse clients’ orders, prepare BOQ and Control Book.
  • Produce detailed working drawings and specifications for production.
  • Take accurate site dimensions and monitor installation progress
  • Prepare drawings and interior design scheme using computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related softwares.
  • Ensure that each project is executed within defined schedule.

Task Complexities:

  • Manages the complete design process and documentation package for interior design of all projects that commensurate with IO brand image of excellence, in quality of design and aesthetic appeal, gaining the trust and respect of both internal and external customers
  • Prepare drawings, schemes and specifications within the time constraints, ensuring that the designs are brand compliant and on strategy for all areas of existing and new development for all IO projects and retail lifestyle inclusive.
  • Responsibly work with the design team, clients, Project Managers, Architects and consultants to prepare successful presentations and prepare a Design Review meeting to obtain Senior Management approval.
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
  • Coordinate with other professionals, such as Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure job success.
  • Inspect ongoing installation works on site to ensure its adherence to the design plans.
  • Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related software to produce documents.
  • Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout, use of furnishings or equipment and colour coordination.
  • Confer with clients to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, purpose and function.
  • Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval.
  • Carry out site inspections to ensure client requirement is achieved.
  • Ensure that all clients’ enquiries and queries are attended to promptly within 24 hours.
  • Encourage clients to report complaints or anomalies in writing and maintain a diary / record of actions taken in all cases.
  • Ensure that job orders are properly issued
  • Liaise with accounts department to ensure that payments have been made in respect of confirmed orders
  • Design spaces to be environmentally friendly, using sustainable, recycled or off cut materials when feasible.
  • Research and explore the use of new materials, technologies and products to incorporate into designs.
  • Select or design furnishings and accessories.
  • Act as a liaison officer between customer service and technical department
  • Ensure clients management for competitive advantage
  • Provide weekly project status update during operations or management meetings.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Interior Design

Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • A Degree in Interior Designs or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Interior design/Architecture within the furniture manufacturing Industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management
  • A Master's Degree in Architecture is an added advantage
  • Professional Project Management certification is an added advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)

  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
