1.) Van Sales Representative

Job Location: Ojodu Berger / Mowe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description 


  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and prospecting
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a cohesive customer experience
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase repeat business and upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to customers and potential customers
  • Negotiate sales contracts and close deals
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.

2.) Junior Compliance Officer

Job Description

  • As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the compliance team in ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation and management of the compliance program, helping to mitigate risk and maintain the company's reputation.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including industry standards and legal obligations.

Policy Development:

  • Help in the development, review, and updating of compliance
  • policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current regulations and best practices.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including reports, audits, and investigations. Ensure documentation is complete and accessible.

Training and Awareness:

  • Support the development and delivery of compliance training programs to staff, ensuring all employees are aware of their compliance responsibilities.

Risk Assessment:

  • Assist in conducting compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and recommend mitigation strategies.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.

Investigations:

  • Participate in compliance investigations as directed, documenting, findings, and supporting resolution processes.

Internal Audits:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits to monitor adherence to compliance policies and procedures.

Liaison:

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external compliance-related queries, providing support and guidance as needed.

Employee Communication:

  • Ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
  • Additionally, Junior Compliance Officers work closely with senior officers, maintain account guidelines, and assess internal controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant field including banking, finance, accounting, business management, law, economics and company secretarial studies.

Experience:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services or a regulated industry.

Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of compliance principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Integrity:

  • High ethical standards and integrity in both personal and professional dealings.

Team Player:

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changing regulatory environments and organizational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications:

  • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or similar.

Experience:

  • Prior experience working in a regulated industry such as financial services, banking, or insurance.

  • Assist in the daily operations of multiple funds, including trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement.
