Sunlight Resources Limited is a Food & Snack Production company situated at Mushin axis of Nigeria, who has been in business for more 16 years. As a business venture between father and son, Fun Snax began way back in 2005 when the dynamic duo first launched their light and fluffy cheeseballs, in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. It was thanks to the success of these cheesy snacks that the pair then went on to design and craft new products for the range. Spending hours obsessing over new and exciting flavors, Fun Snax soon saw the launch of the brand’s ever-popular potato chips and their tangy shrimp cracker.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:


1.) Production Manager

Job Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • To plan the production to meet the sales forecasts, optimum utilization of machine; and manpower, better control on the wastage and proper training to the staff to achieve maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities
Planning:

  • Weekly / Daily production plan as per the sales forecasts.
  • Ensure to give the man power requirement minimum of 24 hours’ notice to HRD.
  • Ensure that all the RM & PM are available for the start-up.
  • Ensure that the team under your supervision are well understood the production process of all products and SKU’s.
  • Spontaneous decisions when necessary, according to the sudden change in delivery planning due to unforeseen situations.
  • Planning adjustments in an efficient way if there are any sudden requests from the sales team.
  • Continuous improvement on the process to improve productivity.

Operations:

  • Ensure for all the staff and workers to comply for the safety regulations and follows with utmost importance for creating a safe environment.
  • Ensure for timely start of the production during the startup (Production starting after the planned shutdown or after weekends break)
  • Daily / Weekly and Monthly review of production output and corrective actions for the variances.
  • Ensure GMP always to get the standard product at all the times.
  • Minimum downtime by intime corrective actions on the issues and coordination with the maintenance team where ever necessary.
  • Minimum online rejection of both product and packaging.
  • Continuous improvement in wastage reduction in both raw material and packing material.
  • Proper documentation of all the production related data.
  • Validating the shift wise reports.

Quality:

  • Ensure that the production environment to be conducive for the quality product.
  • Ensure for batch formulation as per the quality SOP without any deviation.
  • Ensure GMP always in-line with the SON / NAFDAC standards.
  • Assisting in for QMS/FSMS /HACCP/GHK for proper implementation and execution.
  • Maintaining the norms given by the ISO guidelines.

Systems and Reports:

  • Maintain accurate records and registers of all the production activities.
  • Submit the reports as required daily/ weekly/ monthly / quarterly / yearly.
  • Proper monitoring of manpower utilization by comparing the manhours used.
  • Target achievement standard vs actual

Administration:

  • Good communication skills to convey the message to both sub ordinates and superiors.
  • Co-ordinate with HR department to ensure adequate manpower if needed.
  • Taking part in training of personnel and continuous training for the existing to keep the team up to date including self.
  • Maintain dignity and maturity while taking necessary actions.

Qualification

  • 8 - 13 years of work experience.

2.) Regional Sales Manager

Job Locations: Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, Kogi, Benue & Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive market mapping and develop comprehensive journey/route plans, with the ASMs, for maximum secondary channel coverage within the assigned region.
  • Develop and provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts for your Region, in line with the Annual Business Plan (ABP), to the Zonal Sales Manager (ZM) and agree on sales and marketing targets for the period with the Zonal Sales Manager.
  • Allocate weekly/monthly targets to the ASM, SE, VSR, including overall sales volumes, category mix, product availability, and visibility standards.
  • Drive sales in the region through the sales team to ensure that all sales, availability, and visibility targets are met.
  • Propose and implement trade promotions and marketing activities and identify channel expansion opportunities.
  • Ensure that all trade promotions and marketing activities in your area are aligned to ABP and executed with speed and within budget.
  • Identify and recruit distributors in your area and ensure healthy ROI for all such primary channel partners by maximizing secondary channel sales in their territories.
  • Monitor distributors’ turnover and stocks on a daily and weekly basis to ensure that all our SKUs are available and that the distributors reach their monthly agreed targets.
  • Develop and execute action plans for the monthly target.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of all such activities to the ZM as per the approved reporting format.
  • Ensure that all costs incurred are within the approved budget. This includes the cost of promotions, BTL activities and secondary sales.
  • Monitor and control POS/promotional materials cost through optimum utilization.
  • Monitor the distributors across the region, for their storage practices and facilities to ensure zero spoilage.
  • Develop strong relationships and close collaboration with all distributors in your region to maximize their sales performance and prevent attrition.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Zonal Business Manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an OND/HND/BSC in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, and any relevant field.
  • Seven (7) years of working experience.
  • Experience in Sales of Food & Snacks Products is paramount.
  • Must live within close proximity or ready to relocate.
  • Must be ready to Travel within (100 %) and travel with the country (50 %).

Salary
N200,000 - N350,000 monthly.

3.) Area Sales Manager

Job Locations: Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Kogi, Benue, Ibadan - Oyo & Akure - Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts for your area, in line with the Annual Business Plan (ABP), to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and agree on sales and marketing targets for the period with the RSM.
  • Allocate weekly/monthly targets to the sales representatives, including overall sales volumes, category mix, product availability, and visibility standards.
  • Drive sales in the region through the sales team to ensure that all sales, availability and visibility targets are met.
  • Enforce minimum drop volume standards for different categories of customers to eliminate “stock out” situations.
  • Conduct extensive market mapping and develop comprehensive route plans, with the SRs, for maximum secondary channel coverage within the assigned region.
  • Ensure that sales representatives make a minimum of 25 calls per day in the secondary channel as per agreed route plans. Track actual calls versus calls scheduled and productive calls versus actual calls made. Coach and correct as needed.
  • Propose and implement trade promotions and marketing activities and identify channel expansion opportunities.
  • Ensure that all trade promotions and marketing activities in your area are aligned to ABP and executed with speed and within budget. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of all such activities to the RSM as per approved reporting format.
  • Monitor distributors’ turnover and stocks on a daily and weekly basis to ensure that all our SKUs are available and that the distributors reach their monthly agreed targets.
  • Develop and execute action plans in case a distributor falls behind on the monthly target.
  • Monitor the distributors’ storage practices and facilities to ensure zero spoilage.
  • Ensure that all costs incurred are within approved budget. This includes cost of promotions, BTL activities, secondary freight and manpower.
  • Monitor and control POS/promotional materials costs through optimum utilization.
  • Identify and recruit distributors in your area and ensure healthy ROI for all such primary channel partners by maximizing secondary channel sales in their territories.
  • Develop strong relationships and close collaboration with all distributors in your area to maximize their sales performance and prevent attrition.
  • Encourage distributors to invest in delivery infrastructure to drive timely fulfilment of all secondary channel orders.
  • Devise and recommend appropriate incentive schemes to assist distributors in developing their delivery infrastructure.
  • Any other duties as directed by the RSM/ZSM.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational standard:OND/HND/BSC in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing and Accounting.
  • Minimum Working Experience: three years and above.
  • Experience in Sales of Food & Snacks Products will be an added advantage.
  • Must live within close proximity or ready to relocate.
  • Must be ready to Travel within the Regions.

Salary
N140,000 - N170,000 Monthly.
