We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Waiter / Waitress
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- The ideal candidate is energetic, well-spoken, attentive to detail, and passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, checking in with guests during their experience
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout the shift
- Upsell menu items and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience
- Process bills and payments efficiently, using the POS system
- Handle guest complaints calmly and professionally, escalating issues when needed
- Work closely with other floor staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Adhere to hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times

Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer-facing roles in hospitality
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and strong customer service mindset
- Basic knowledge of food and beverages is a plus
- Team player, punctual, and dependable
- Flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
2.) Accountant
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Ora Lagos.
- This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, handling payroll, ensuring tax compliance, managing cash flow, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including income, expenses, sales, and payroll
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and cash flow statements
- Monitor budgets and spending to ensure financial efficiency
- Process and manage payroll for all staff and ensure timely payment
- File statutory payments such as PAYE, VAT, pension, and other government obligations
- Work closely with management to provide insight on financial performance
- Recommend and implement cost-saving measures
- Handle daily reconciliations of POS, cash, and bank transactions
- Monitor inventory spending and supplier payments
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Maintain and organize accounting documents and records for future reference
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
- Compliance with tax and statutory obligations
- Payroll accuracy and timeliness
- Budget adherence and cost control
- Efficiency in reconciliations and record keeping
Skills & Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and payroll regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
3.) Head Chef
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Head Chef is responsible for leading kitchen operations, designing and preparing high-quality dishes, and maintaining exceptional food standards.
- This role involves managing the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency, and upholding health and safety regulations.
- The ideal candidate is a creative and skilled culinary professional with proven leadership experience in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and update menus to reflect current trends and customer preferences while maintaining the lounge’s brand identity.
- Ensure all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage recipe creation and standardization for consistency.
- Oversee daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, including assistant chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients.
- Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to avoid shortages or waste.
- Manage kitchen budgets by controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
- Implement and enforce strict food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization.

N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
