We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Liaison / Protocol Officer

Job Location: Abuja

The Purpose of the Job


  • To liaise effectively with Government, Regulatory, and other relevant agencies in Abuja and surrounding areas on behalf of business units and functions.
  • This involves regular engagements, follow-ups, and enhanced visibility to ensure seamless booking of appointments, and coordinating executive movements and protocol in line with organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • To establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with Government, Regulatory, and other agencies as necessary for business operations.
  • Coordinate executive movements in and around Abuja to ensure efficient logistics and protocol adherence.
  • Manage the Transport Pool in Abuja in accordance with company policies to optimize resource utilization and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate Embassy and Immigration liaison requirements for Management to support smooth business operations as required.
  • Attend relevant stakeholder meetings, and regulatory and legislative sittings to gather crucial intelligence for FMN and provide strategic advice to management on forthcoming policies and legislation.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Abuja Liaison office to ensure seamless support to organizational activities. Additionally, perform other delegated duties as assigned by the line manager.
  • Develop and maintain cordial and professional working relationships with relevant contacts within the National Assembly to ensure an effective intelligence-gathering process.

Qualifications

  • BSc/HND in any related field.
  • 2-5 years of cognate experience.

  • Possess the ability to develop and maintain strategic networks and relationships.
  • Be Proactive.
