Job Position: Marketing Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategic revenue plans to meet and exceed financial targets through sales from government (ministries, parastatals, state houses) and corporates.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, sponsorships, and advertising deals.
  • Lead pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and revenue projections to maximize profitability.
  • Drive client acquisition, retention, and growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel sales strategies for TV, digital, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Drive brand positioning and commercial storytelling to enhance News Central TV’s appeal to advertisers, sponsors, and partners.
  • Analyze market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to inform revenue strategies.
  • Lead negotiations for advertising deals, brand partnerships, and commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with editorial, production, and digital teams to create compelling commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, sponsors, media buyers, and corporate partners.
  • Represent News Central TV at client meetings, networking forums, and industry events.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the media industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and content promotion.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and marketing tools.
