MetroHealth HMO Limited is a Health Maintenance Organization which has been established with the objective of becoming the HMO of choice for corporate entities and all subscribing enrolees, who want good quality healthcare accessed through a technology enabled platform that will enhance the whole customer experience.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Medical Manager

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Verify and process for approval, all medical bills/claims of Enrollees from our Healthcare Providers.
• Manage routine inspection of Healthcare provider’s facility within the network.
• Carryout registration and accreditation of Healthcare providers in the network.
• Assume responsibility of our clinical services.
• Institute a behavioral framework for all healthcare providers at our clinical services locations.
• Process and authorization of referrals for our Enrollees to Healthcare providers.
• Providing expert advice on health promotions and disease prevention.
• Cooperate with the Executive team to initiate procedures, regulations and programmes to benefit our patients and support our health centre in line with the best practice.

Qualification Requirements

• First Degree in Medicine from a recognized Institution.
• 5 years minimum of cognate experience in Medical practice with at least 3 years in an HMO.
• Applications will be accepted from physicians who are currently licensed.
• HMO Medical experience is a must ·
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written ·
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
