We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • The NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organization's network from the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • They ensure prompt and adequate response to escalations, performance, and reporting by proactively monitoring network devices, servers, and applications.
  • The NOC Engineer troubleshoots network issues, coordinates with various teams to resolve sites incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of installed hybrid operating systems
  • Utilize industry operations best practices to ensure energy reliability and availability.
  • Respond to system alerts and malfunctions
  • Escalation to site managers, site support and site security system malfunctions
  • Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling escalation and incident reports.
  • Track and ensure completion of preventative maintenance checklist at all operational site
  • Lead efficient co-ordination of customer complaints, ensuring proper communication, speedy response, resolution and/or escalation.
  • Respond to client escalation in a timely manner
  • Proactively ensure systems maintain an uptime (SLA) of 100%
  • Track and ensure completion of issue list items at operational sites
  • Manage communication with third party installers and Customer Operations Engineer on SLA and KPIs.
  • Issue daily operations report
  • Any additional task as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in network operations, network administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., VRM,), and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
