We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Newscaster

Job Location: Rivers

Job Summary

• The Newscaster is responsible for analyzing and broadcasting news received from various sources.
• He/she shall help examine news items of local, national, and international significance to determine selection or may be assigned news items for broadcast by editorial team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for fact-checking, presenting relevant information
• Participate actively in the editorial meeting to set the agenda for the day
• Ensure that late-breaking news/update from the editor is delivered during newscasts
• Collaborate with the news department to set news agenda for the day
• Revise scripts and prepare to deliver on-air seamlessly
• Introduce news correspondents reporting on scene and ask them relevant questions

Education and Experience

• B.Sc in Journalism, Communications or any relevant field.
• At least 2 Years of Proven work experience as a newscaster.
• Excellent communication skills

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
