We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Business Development Executive


Job Locations: Marina, Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Business Development Executive is tasked with driving the growth of UPDC FM by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
  • This role carries significant responsibility in developing client relationships, overseeing the initial stages of client engagement, and contributing to revenue generation.
  • The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Business Development Manager to implement strategies that meet the company's objectives and expand its market presence.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the facility management sector.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s client base, including corporate, commercial, and residential markets.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their facility management needs.
  • Lead client meetings, site visits, and presentations to secure new contracts and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

Proposal and Contract Management:

  • Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and tender documents, ensuring they are tailored to client requirements and competitively positioned.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients, in collaboration with the Business Development Manager, to secure favorable contracts.
  • Ensure all contracts are managed effectively, with clear documentation and adherence to agreed terms.
  • Sales and Revenue Achievement:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by securing contracts for facility management services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and other related services.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies that balance profitability with competitive positioning.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide support and guidance to Business Development Officers, helping them to achieve their individual targets and develop their skills.
  • Share industry knowledge and best practices with the team to enhance overall performance.
  • Assist the Business Development Manager in training and developing junior team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure the seamless execution of business development strategies and client solutions.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions and market insights to refine service offerings.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings to align business development initiatives with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the facility management industry or a similar sector.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines.

2.) QHSE Officer

Job Location: Marina, Lagos

Job Detail

  • The QHSE officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on siteby implementing and monitoring safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate mus have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in related field
  • The ideal candidate must have a First Degree in related field
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

3.) Facility Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Manager to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate musthave a strong background in engineering and a proven track record in managing residential and corporate facilities efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
