We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) IT Service Manager

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Ensure service management practices conform to the requirements of ITIL V4.
  • Report the performance of the service management practices and services to top management.
  • Managing IT service delivery by ensuring requirements for services are met.
  • Ensuring continual improvement of IT services and service management practices.
  • Ensuring the monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation of the service value system and the services.
  • Supervising process owners and other staff contributing to the service value system.
  • Identify and review at intervals the external and internal issues that are relevant to the Bank’s purpose which can affect its ability to meet its service value system objectives.
  • Guarantee the quality of IT Services delivered or equipment procured are in line with the branch standard or set operating procedures.
  • Design and conduct at least quarterly Internal Satisfaction Surveys for all IT Services.
  • Work with IT Leadership & Business to define SLAs for Services and solutions.
  • Identify and review at intervals the interested parties that are relevant to the service value system and services, and ensure the relevant requirements of these interested parties are met.
  • Conduct/coordinate Service Training and handover training for new and existing services for the Business.
  • Maintain and update the Service Catalogue and Application mapping records.
  • Serve as the responsible person for all User IT Service Requests, Incidents Change Management Processes.
  • Track and monitor Internet Service Provider expenses and any recharge of backup links or support Internet service.
  • Serve as the budget monitoring tracking officer within the IT Department to give updates to IT Leadership on budget utilization.
  • Follow up and ensure closure of all branches' opened tickets within the acceptable business agreed timeline.
  • Ensure all Service Providers/Vendors reconciliations are done in line with the SLA.
  • Define the standard for naming conventions of IT devices and ensure all IT devices carry the correct Hostname, Asset Tag (in Collaboration with Finance & Admin) on the network and document on Asset register.
  • Track & provide remote support to resolve all incidents that occurred in Baobab Nigeria.
  • Contribute to the procurement process/procedures fulfillment and ensure quality is guaranteed.
  • Develop and implement all IT Policies at thecountry level.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Electronics or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in system/network administration, maintenance and IT
  • ITIL Foundation Certification or Training
  • Service Management or equivalent
  • Microsoft MCP/MCSA Training/ certificate (desired)
  • Implementer Certification/Professional Certificate in more than 2 Standards/Framework among these is a huge added advantage; Data Protection, ISO22301, ITIL V4/ISO 20000, ISO 27001/27002, PMBOK, ISO 2703

2.) Product Associate

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our digital channels, including our website, mobile app, and other digital properties.
  • The Product Associate will work closely with the team to develop and execute strategies to optimise our digital channels for maximum reach and engagement.
  • This includes driving user acquisition strategies, creating content for our digital channels, and developing marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive user acquisition and engagement on our digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure that digital strategies are aligned with product goals
  • Monitor and report on performance of digital channels.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement the product development and change agenda.
  • Support the strong governance and control framework with robust processes and procedures to meet all regulatory and statutory obligations.
  • Competitive analysis and industry benchmarking.
  • Define new product requirements and enhancements and drive their implementation.
  • Monitor product key performance indicators, report on the health of a given product against goals and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze digital channel performance and customer engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure product messaging is aligned with overall product strategy and objectives.
  • Research and analyze competitor products, peer performance, and competitive industry landscape and assist the Product Manager in doing the same.
  • Provide ongoing research and analytical support to Product Managers in their work on strategy positioning, portfolio performance analysis, and strategy details, writing proactive portfolio updates to internal audiences.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to drive sales of micro-health insurance.
  • Provide logistics support to POS merchants and agents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 1 - 5 years of work experience.
  • Previous experience in product management or related roles.
  • Analytics and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other related software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

3.) Head of Digital Strategy

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Mission

  • Lead and guide a strategic Digitization of Baobab’s commercial business leveraging technology and drive the fintech execution capabilities in alignment with strategic initiatives consistent with Baobab’s culture.
  • Lead the sales and marketing activities of the organization.
  • Lead Digitization of Baobab Nigeria.
  • Build a dedicated team to drive digital capabilities, program management and associated change management across the enterprise.
  • As a strategic leader, this role leverages deep understanding of digital business processes and technology application to design and deliver appropriate transformation programs.
  • Lead the following teams for the purpose of effective digitization of the business - business intelligence, digital strategy, digital channels, change management, digitization program management and serve as a key member of the Leadership Team.

General Responsibilities

  • Accountable for transformative design, deployment, and integrated delivery of Baobab’s next generation business solutions.
  • Lead the technical design, deployment, transition, and ongoing support of the solution.
  • Collaborate across boundaries to define and execute business priorities.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of key strategies within the scope of the role.
  • Provide leadership to teams in managing business transformation initiatives/projects.
  • Provide oversight for multiple digital solutions from vendors, custom solutions and internal resources.
  • Identify and manage multiple vendors required for the delivery during the program.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to identify new and emerging technologies for digital transformation.
  • Build the initial commercial transformation team and provide leadership and vision for direct reports within the team.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of senior managers, individual contributors and external resources.
  • Identify and implement key metrics and monitors to ensure project and initiative deliverables are achieved.
  • Organize and lead a highly technical global team for scale and growth.
  • Drive the delivery of Baobab’s commercial business objectives.

Required Profile

  • Minimum of MBA / M.Sc; additional qualifications and certification in relative business schools or equivalent will be additional advantage.
  • You have a minimum of 5/8 years of Microfinance banking and job related experience;
  • Experience in leading digital strategy and projects; Experience in microfinance would be a plus (but not an obstacle);
  • Your excellent communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with our partners and to participate in various committees.
  • You are known for your rigour, your organisation and the relevance of your analyses;
  • You show a true passion for digitization, and a real appetite for transformation.
