We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Junior Accountant

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
  • Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
  • The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
  • Assist with other accounting projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • 1+ years of experience in medium sized accounting firm or manufacturing company.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. Tally).
  • Proficiency with a computer.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and various accounting software programs.
  • Familiarity with accounting software programs.
  • Qualifications ICAN is a plus but not required.
  • Proven experience as a junior accountant.
  • Excellent organizing abilities.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly (Gross)

2.)  Medical Sales Associate

Job Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job brief

  • We are looking for a result-driven retail Medical Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.
  • He/she will be working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about your products and recommend the right solutions.
  • He/she should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.
  • Ultimately, the duties of the Medical Sales Associate is to achieve excellent customer service, increase sales of the company’s products, while consistently meeting the company’s sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
  • Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
  • Cross sell products
  • Handle returns of merchandise
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a minimum of a High School Degree with 1 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative in a pharmaceutical company is an added advantage or similar role
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic Math skills
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Availability to work flexible shifts.
