Enough is Enough Nigeria (EiE) is a coalition of individuals and youth organizations committed to instituting a culture of good governance and public accountability in Nigeria through advocacy, activism and the mobilization of the youth population as responsible citizens. We are non partisan, neither are we a platform for the actualization of any individual’s political ambitions.
Our ambitious goal is to mobilize 10 million young people, cutting across religious, ethnic and socio economic divides in the country to be actively engaged in the electoral process by 2015.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Programs Lead
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking for a self-driven individual with strong work ethics, collaborative spirit, leadership, fundraising, planning, strategizing, marketing, problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs.
- Effectively apply EiE’s methodology and enforce project standards.
- Prepare and present reports to board, funders, and community stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with organizational coalition members – strategy input and partnerships on programs
- Generate innovative project ideas and strategies related to EiE’s mission and goals.
- Design evaluative measures to track program effectiveness.
Oversee collection of performance data on programs and activities, for evaluation and strategic review and reporting purposes. - Minimize exposure to risks on projects.
Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the non-profit sector dealing with good governance and civic engagement. - Maintain official records, documents and internal/external communications as appropriate.
- Ensure project documents are complete and stored appropriately.
- Manage project timeline.
- Perform the cost-benefit analysis to estimate the strengths and weaknesses of new projects.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work with community agencies, organisations and institutions as appropriate to carry out organisational and program goals.
- Engage stakeholders in advocacy to advance EiE’s mission and goals.
- Prepare and present reports to board and funders, as well as community stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with partners.
- Identify fundraising strategies that benefit and complement the mission and the vision of EiE.
Team Collaboration and Management:
- Challenge project members to develop as leaders while serving as mentors.
- Ensure working environment is conducive to the nature of EiE’s work and impromptu causes.
- Identify resource needs and assign individual responsibilities.
Supervise the activities of the Programs Team.
Organisational Development:
- Maintain regular contact with funding organizations and report on program activities in intervals mutually established between funders and EiE.
- Ensure effective systems to track progress, and regularly assess program components, to measure successes to effectively communicate to the Board, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Seek contracts and partnerships and spearhead the development of proposals.
- Take a leadership role in seeking out and writing funding applications
- Prepare and submit reports as required – including weekly reports; monthly reports for the Board and funding organizations/sources.
- Prepare final reports for funding organizations/sources in cooperation with the Administrator.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 5 years of minimum experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office.
- Working knowledge of grants and fund-raising activities.
- Have apt knowledge and interest in governance and politics.

2.) Media Lead
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for content strategy, blogging, governance, and politics.
Responsibilities
- Manage EiE’s presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and similar community sites.
- Create and maintain a media editorial calendar and posting schedule.
- Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Design campaigns to engage and increase followership on all media platform.
- Locate and engage advocates and influencers within the community (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram etc.) to foster dialogue.
- Communicate briefs to 3rd parties.
- Monitor trends regarding issues of interest to EiE.
- Validate every content and material used by EiE.
- Innovate alternative channels to disseminate EiE’s message and showcase its work.
- Develop content for the various media channels (TV, press, internet etc.) to maximize EiE’s objectives and to engage citizens.
- Manage EiE’s relationship with traditional media partners – radio and TV stations.
- Communicate with media partners in a consistent, informed and unbiased voice.
- Manage EiE’s relationship with new media partners – digital marketers, influencers etc.
- Manage EiE’s relationship with online media partners – Ynaija, Premium Times, Bella Naija etc.
- Build strategic relationships with local, regional and international media outlets.
- Serve as EiE’s contact person for appearances, printing, publishing, and all digital content.
- Provide a monthly report on EiE’s media presence, trends, opportunities and challenges.
- Responsible for carrying out internal assessment of the status and direction of media, documenting the key achievements, challenge, impact and recommendations.
- To prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports highlighting objectives and achievements of the media unit.
- Continuously monitor the success rate of programs/projects activities against the plans, executions and engagement on all media platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or at least 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- High comfort level with traditional and new media platforms – Newspaper, TV, Radio, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.
- Apt knowledge and interest in governance and politics

3.) Senior Media Associate
Job Location: Lagos
Job Decription
- We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for content strategy, blogging and online community development.
Responsiblities
- Update the social media calendar and posting schedule.
- Update the EiE blog twice weekly with relevant information.
- Consistent voice in all content creation.
- Develop ample content according to brief and requirements.
- Respond to all questions asked on EiE’s social media platforms
- All EiE owned/organised events must be live-tweeted.
- Increase followership on all social media platforms such as Twitter, blog etc. by at least 15% quarterly.
- Ensure EiE’s infographics is received and published in the appropriate newspaper.
- Ensure the weekly Newsletter broadcast is done.
- Ensure the set expected date of delivery of the print materials is adhered to.
- 0% design and content error on print materials.
- Prepare and submit weekly summary of analytics of all social media engagement to the management.
- Assist in planning and organising the annual Social Media Week.
- Ability to pay attention to fine details.
- Understand how to respond to trolls, negative comments.
- Ability to convey ideas in writing.
- Ability to maintain a consistent voice when writing on behalf of the company
- Ability to speak eloquently and fluently with courtesy and caution
- High comfort level with social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.
- Ability to use Social Media Analytics tools.
- Ability to spot, understand, and set trends.
- Understand how to engage audiences on different social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Facebook etc.
- Ability to speak and understand at least two Nigerian Local Languages.
- Ability to develop relationships with audience, media vendor, media partners and clients and nourish existing ones.
- Understands how to engage audiences on different social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Facebook etc.
- Ability to develop the right and engaging content.
- Ability to work together with colleagues to pool skills, ideas and objectives.
- Ability to develop well informed advice and strategies that are sensitive to the needs of the stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to exercise personal responsibility and autonomy to meet objectives.
