Procurement Assistant Job at SALID Agriculture

SALID Agriculture is a wholly Nigerian firm committed to ensuring a more sustainable economy through agricultural development by taking advantage of Nigeria’s wealth of agro raw materials to produce value added raw materials and finished products that would serve both local and international markets.

SALID started out trading in Shea nuts in 2013 and is now in the process of metamorphosing into value addition by going into industrial processing of the Shea nuts into Shea butter.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Assistant
Job Location: Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Efficiently manage the procurement of goods (e.g. raw material commodities for manufacturing-processing and/or resale) and services in support of the organization’s operations, by ensuring timely, relevantand qualitative acquisition at the best cost and optimal quantity

Qualifications / Requirements

• Good First Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related Field;
• Two (2) years of work experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply-chain management;
• Good knowledge and understanding of Nigerian procurement practices, principles and techniques.
