Job Summary / Role Description

  • Project Procurement Coordinator leads a group of procurement resources assigned to a Project.
  • He/She works under the coordination of the Project Procurement Manager in projects characterized by high contract complexity in terms of value, schedule, coordination, risks etc.
  • He/She coordinates the overall project procurement activities under his/her responsibility, from receipt of the Purchase Requests till the close-out of the Purchase Orders, ensuring the fulfilment of the Project targets in terms of cost, time and quality, following PD/PM and PPD/PPM instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities
His main responsibilities are:

  • Oversee raw materials procurement processes, ensuring appropriate remittance and delivery
  • Assist the Procurement Lead with all stages of the procurement process and work cross-functionally with all internal and external teams.
  • Prepare and draft purchases orders and upload corresponding shipment data into the SAP tool.
  • Develop and implement new procurement and sourcing stragtegies, aligning with industry news and best practice.
  • Build relationships with existing vendors and identify new vendors to service emerging needs
  • Identify procurement processes to be improved or made more efficient
  • Create and oversee KPI tracking and reporting
  • Work with project managers to ensure materials availability.

Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a University Degree with relevant work experience.

Experience:

  • Management experience for an EPC company in for, at least, two plants as  Utilies Engineer
  • Plants for the gas treatment.
