Job Position: Procurement Officer (Downstream)

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Type: Full time

Job Description

• Implements the vendor sourcing process in line with agreed procurement guidelines
• Plans and forecasts the procurement requirements of Client
• Maintains relationships with vendors
• Liaises with the various divisions to know their needs and requirements and expedites the procurement process for such
• Tracks overall spending and ensures it’s within the budget
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers with intention to provide favourable terms for Client
• Processes vendor invoices as required
• Supervises the inspection of material deliveries
• Conducts due diligence of potential suppliers and monitors performance of pre?qualified suppliers engaged by Client
• Evaluates suppliers’ offers in terms of the commercial and technical requirements and prepares the appropriate management reports

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Social Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Procurement function in a similar organisation focusing on petroleum products procurement.
• Member of relevant professional qualification e.g. Chartered institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
