Though incorporated in 2008, Dayola Property started business with Investment and Trade, while building relationships and experience that has been taken into property development.
In the residential market, the company has targeted the first-time homeowner and the investor looking for a value-for-money investments, and numerous complexes have been completed. These have either been sold under sectional title or retained as investment properties. Units in our investment portfolio become available for lease from time to time. The company is continuing to build for this category of buyer while at the same time entering into the affordable housing market - a marked contribution towards alleviating the severe shortage of housing. We have primarily focused on developing affordable luxury homes through joint ventures and partnerships. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Responsible for and plans, organizes and manages the procurement process for all projects.
- Ensures that the procurement process is in adherence to company and client requirements, company policies and procedures to ensure successful delivery of project requirements.
- Interface with project department and vendors for all matters related to the procurement of Projects materials, equipment and services scope.
- Develop the Project Procurement Plan and Execution Strategy for individual Projects.
- Handle and manage Project RFQ’s and evaluations
- Oversees all Procurement activities associated with the effective purchasing of Project requirements by the Procurement Department in accordance with Project or end user schedules, specifications and budgets.
- Provide procurement support for Bids, and when necessary, participate in bid reviews and evaluations. · Develop and maintain a commercially sound Vendor base, survey the market for new supply sources including non-traditional ones and maintain Project “Approved Vendor List”.
- Evaluate vendor performance on continuous basis.
- Monitor and review market conditions and price & delivery trends for Project materials and equipments.
- Provide support to project cost controls in procurement related activities, bid versus buy analysis and the preparation of cash flow plans for project purchases orders.
- Checking the accuracy of materials when they are delivered to the site; following the procedures for accepting delivery of materials to the storage.
- Provide project procurement reports as necessary and undertake tasks, activities and assignments at the direction of the Project Team Lead/Project Manager.
- Maintaining stock /material schedules, documents, files and all other requesting, processing and reconciliation documents.
- Ensuring that requests for materials follow company’s approval process before they are released.
- Ensuring the replenishment of store items before they are exhausted.
- Ensuring that only items approved for release are released at each given time.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 3 - 6 years of work experience.
- Gender - preferably Female
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
