Ernest-Ester Industry Nigeria Limited is a registered company by corporate affairs commission since 2017. We are a Nigerian based manufacturing company that specialize in plastics and nylon packaging materials productions. We produce high quality polythene bags from 100 percent recycled LDPE and HDPE. We produce in commercial and retail quantity in deference sizes and thickness with all various gadget and industrial equipment.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: Jericho - Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Procurement Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining vendor relationships while keeping costs within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Track the status of orders and resolve issues with suppliers.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time.
  • Review and analyze purchase requisitions and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast future supply needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their requirements and support project needs.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a First Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related area.
  • Proficiency in the use of Ms. Office suite.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to details.
  • Knowledge of market trend and supplier evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS,CPP is an added advantage)
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector(Added advantage).
