Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the Architectural and Engineering designs consultants to successfully deliver high profile special projects and infrastructure developments across the Bank and its subsidiaries.
- Oversee the implementation of design solutions (including spatial arrangement, interior design and urban/estate design) to achieve high standards of functionality and aesthetics across Bank and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure that all design projects align with organizational objectives, brand consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with external (Architectural and Engineering consultants) and internal stakeholders, including Head Office departments and bank subsidiaries, to provide design support services tailored to their needs.
- Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management, providing updates on project milestones and challenges.
- Oversee the development of design proposals, feasibility studies, and project plans.
- Ensure quality control measures are in place for all projects, maintaining high standards in materials, construction, and finishing.
- Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for improvements or necessary adjustments.
- Track and report on design targets and project execution, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
- Provide regular updates on key metrics, such as design phases, construction phases and preoccupation phases to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze completed projects for lessons learned and apply insights to future initiatives.
Requirements
Education:
- B.Sc. Architecture; M.Sc. Architecture and Certificate in Interior and Urban designs as added
- advantage.
- Professional Certifications: MNIA, ARCON, PMP (Project Management Professional)
Experience:
- Minimum experience: 10 years of relevant experience needed
