Job Position: Property Sourcer
Job Location: Lagos
Work Mode: Field-based with required visits to properties; primary place of work as needed for deliverables.

Job Summary

• Abodes Lagos is seeking a confident and strategic Property Sourcer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will specialize in the luxury property market and be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and securing high-value properties directly from owners or developers, ensuring authenticity and maintaining the company’s standards.
• This role requires strong research, negotiation, and networking skills, as well as deep knowledge of the Lagos metropolis.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically identify and source high-value luxury properties directly from property owners and developers, creating a robust funnel of available properties.
• Vet properties to ensure authenticity, quality standards, and suitability for company listings.
• Conduct market research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property vendors, landlords, developers, and local authorities.
• Engage confidently with high-caliber property vendors, building interest and trust to list their properties with Abodes Lagos.
• Create, manage, and present detailed reports on property sourcing activities and progress.
• Work proactively as part of a team, keeping colleagues informed on current developments.
• Negotiate with property vendors and landlords to secure properties at optimal terms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property sourcing, preferably in the luxury real estate market.
• Strong strategic sourcing skills to identify properties directly from owners or developers.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills with high-caliber vendors.
• Deep knowledge of Lagos geography to efficiently locate potential properties.
• Strong research skills for gathering real-time updates on the property market.
• Professional presentation, confidence, and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
• High activity and productivity rate with excellent relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
