Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QHSE Engineer to manage and oversee the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems within the organization.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, promote best practices, and support the organization in achieving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate HSE administration to align with organizational standards.
- Provide technical HSE support while ensuring compliance with local and international legislation.
- Maintain compliance with client requirements, legal and regulatory standards, and relevant certifications.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard evaluations, and control measures.
- Monitor, track, and close out action items, including findings from internal and external audits.
- Perform QMS and HSE audits for projects.
- Implement and review HSE and Quality Management Systems.
- Develop, review, and ensure the effective implementation of the HSE Plan, Procedures, Policies, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
- Oversee the development and execution of emergency response plans.
- Facilitate QHSE meetings, management reviews, and communication plans.
- Develop strategies for maintaining and improving QHSE performance.
- Ensure the organization’s systems and procedures align with the best practices in quality and safety management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in QHSE coordination and management.
- Strong understanding of QHSE standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, hazard evaluation, and control measures.
- Familiarity with implementing and auditing Quality and HSE Management Systems (ISO standards preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
