We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Reconciliation Specialist (GTP)

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Permanent
Department: OPS Recons & Settlement

The role

  • This role resides within the Global Technology Partners (GTP) business unit, which is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
  • Applicants from any other location are welcome to apply, with the understanding that operations happen within the CST / GMT-6 time zone.

Role Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as assigned by management in addition to, but not limited to the following duties.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation reports each day for assigned banks.
  • Retrieve Visa settlement reports, and save to appropriate bank folder.
  • Reconcile assigned banks. Provide Tier I team any cardholder adjustments for processing.
  • Reconcile Base II reports for assigned banks.
  • Research any out of balances found in reconciliation process. Determine if card adjustment is needed,
    or if it is cutover item.
  • Extract VSS Reports and print for Tier I team members.
  • Save GTP generated reports to appropriate bank folder.
  • Reconcile Daily Activity Reports for assigned banks.
  • Transfer completed reconciliation reports, Visa reports, and GTP generated reports to banks.
  • Send completed bank reconciliation reports to management for review.
  • Assist with daily Visa Fee data entry.
  • Update negative card reports as required by management.
  • General housekeeping and other duties to maintain a secure, safe and professional work environment.

Skills and Education / Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or completion of General Education Development
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Commerce preferable.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a priority for this role
  • SQL skills would be preferable for the role. 

Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in finance, financial operations, or banking industry
