Job Position: Research & Strategy Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Business Development
Reports to: Team Lead, Business Strategy & Execution

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather insights and information for new business development
• Participate in business development meetings and reporting
• Provide support and administrative assistance to the Senior staff
• Conduct on and offline research related to the business for trends and insights
• Routine monitoring of the company’s digital platforms for corporate relations
• Monitor and follow business trends locally and internationally
• Assist senior team members in tracking and providing an analytic report
• Carry out market intelligence and competition research and analysis
• Perform similar assigned administrative duties

Education Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

• Educational background in any field
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Sound, intelligent with an analytical mind
• Previous experience in Research, Technology or Marketing environment or role
• Skilled in the use of various digital platforms, such as LinkedIn, Google Search, etc
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Resourceful, self-starter and highly motivated.
