Job Position: Resident Architect

Job Location: Adamawa
Duration: 6 months

Job Details
Sector I Projects:


  • Yola Zone: Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Local Government Areas (LGAs).
  • Numan Zone: Numan, Mayo Belwa, and Ganye LGAs.
  • Guyuk Zone: Guyuk and Shelleng LGAs.

Sector II Projects:

  • Gombi Zone: Gombi and Hong LGAs.
  • Mubi Zone: Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha LGAs.
  • Michika Zone: Michika and Madagali LGAs.

Objective

  • To leverage on your Architectural expertise and skills to create well-designed, functional, and sustainable buildings and spaces that meet the organization's specific needs, reflect its brand identity, comply with regulations, and enhance the user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create designs and plans for buildings and spaces.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate the feasibility and suitability of a location for construction.
  • Ensure designs comply with local rules and regulations, obtain necessary permits and approvals, and work with regulatory authorities to address any compliance issues
  • Develop project schedules, coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, and monitor progress to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants
  • Research and select appropriate materials for construction, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, sustainability, and budget.
  • Provide on-site supervision during the construction phase, ensuring that the project is being executed according to the design plans and specifications.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of the project, addressing their concerns, and seeking their input and feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of Degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience as an Architect.
  • Professional certification will be an added advantage.
