Job Position: Sales Executive

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time
Reporting to: Head of Process

Responsibilities and Duties


  • As a sales Executive at Watu, you'll be at the helm of this revolutionary endeavour, shaping the future of finance.
  • You'll lead a dynamic team of sales professionals, driving business growth and helping customers fulfil their financial aspirations through innovative solutions.   

Generate Leads:

  • Identify and prospect potential customers in designated areas through various channels, including door-to-door visits, cold calling, and networking.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and gather insights into customer preferences and purchasing behavior.

Sales Conversion:

  • Build rapport and establish relationships with prospects to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Present Watu Simu products and services effectively, highlighting their features, benefits, and affordability.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, address objections, and close deals to achieve sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to foster long-term relationships and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance using CRM software or other tracking tools.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and analysis to evaluate performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies for improvement.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with colleagues and team members to share best practices, insights, and feedback.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration preferred
  • Three years of direct sales experience required
  • Technical understanding of the CRM system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Behavioral skills: (Abilities that influence how a person interacts with others and responds to certain situations.).
