Job Position: Store Officer
Job Location: Sabon Wuse, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Officer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing inventory and issuing materials, including oil and utility items.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper documentation, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue materials such as oil and utility items to relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock levels are consistently monitored.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
- Ensure the store is well-organized and items are easily accessible.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Implement and follow best practices for store management and inventory control.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on stock status to management.
- Follow health and safety protocols within the store.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to storekeeping.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
