Test Manager / Lead

Candidate will lead the Testing Team and must have technical know-how and experience to manage team effectively. The successful candidate MUST have experience of leading the testing effort on a large scale core banking application engagement in addition to a wider financial service industry experience. 

We are looking for a technical hands-on manager who will not only lead the team, but also participate in testing and day-to-day operations. Proven ability in developing and managing test automation is a huge plus.

Knowledge of Misys portfolio of financial services application will be a distinct advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Define the Strategy.
• Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements of the project.
• Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholders support for the plan.
• Arrange the hardware and software requirements for the Test Setup.
• Assign tasks to all Testing Team Members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
• Ensure the content and structure of all Testing documents/artefacts are documented and maintained.
• Document, implement, monitor and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
• Check/review the Test Cases document.
• Keep track of the new requirements /change in the requirements of the project.
• Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager.
• Track and prepare the report of testing activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines, etc
• Review various reports prepared by the Test Engineers.
• Ensure timely delivery of different testing milestones.
• Prepares /updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project.
• Participate in release planning and product roll-out

BASIC QUALIFICATION

• University Degree
• Have relevant test management experience
• Have ISTQB Certification
