Treasury Accountant Job at Sixxco Oil Limited

Sixxco Oil Limited is an Oil and Gas Company fully registered in Nigeria in 2005 to do business in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry with registered office in Lagos and operational offices in Rivers State, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom,Cross River and other States. Sixxco Oil Limited is an Authorized Mobil Lubricant distributor to 11PLC (formerly MobilOil Nig.PLC). We distribute fuels, (PMS, DPK, AGO,MGO and LPG) across the country from our 27 million litre capacity Tank Farm in ORON, Akwa Ibom State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Treasury Accountant
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for keeping and maintaining fixed Assets records, i.e., Fixed Assets Register and schedule.
  • Provide necessary assistance in the preparation of monthly, mid-year and annual financial reports.
  • Make necessary contributions in the for preparing of the company’s annual budget.
  • Participate in the conduct of quarterly budget review and update.
  • Responsible for analyzing and reviewing of company’s financial statements.
  • Performs ledger reconciliation with trial balance and schedules.
  • Responsible for all business units’ accounting and reporting.
  • Manage fundraising processes for both debt and equity financing including the sourcing and raising of funds for project.
  • Responsible for liaising with all bank account managers.
  • Responsible for project profitability analysis and evaluation.
  • Receipts records maintenance, cash and bank payments and updates.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation statements on weekly and monthly bases.
  • Accountable for the maintenance and supervision of the company’s project accounts.
  • Carry out the remittance of various taxes, pension contributions and other statutory deductions within the legally stipulated time frame.
  • Advise the management on investments and Treasury management.
  • Perform profitability and cost analysis for all business units and projects.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of both accounts payable and receivable with ledger.
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily activities of the finance and accounts department.
  • Conduct stock reconciliation on weekly basis; and participates in stock count on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your Supervisor and Management.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 3 - 5 years of work experience.
