Job Description

• The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for SaaS products.
• This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
User Research and Analysis:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide the design process.

UI/UX Design:

• Design and prototype intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for SaaS products.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Ensure consistency and coherence across all design elements and user interfaces.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project goals.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Communicate design ideas and rationale clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Usability Testing and Iteration:

• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on design prototypes.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
• Continuously improve and refine the user experience to meet user needs and business objectives.

Design Systems and Guidelines:

• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries.
• Ensure adherence to design guidelines and best practices across all projects.
• Advocate for a user-centered design approach within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus.
