Job Description

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehousing operations.
• This pivotal role involves managing the day-to-day activities within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• The ideal candidate will have robust experience in warehouse management and operations, alongside exceptional leadership qualities to guide and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff.
• The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for streamlining processes to achieve efficiency, accuracy, and increased productivity within our facility.
• This includes maintaining inventory control, overseeing order fulfillment, and ensuring that the warehouse functions in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing best practices in our logistics and supply chain processes, thereby contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control to ensure optimal inventory management.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff to promote safety and best practices within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and exceed productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or HND in marketing, business administration or related field
• Proven experience as a warehouse manager or in a similar managerial role within the warehousing industry.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various warehouse functions simultaneously.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with teams and departments.
