Job Positiob: Accountant / Administrative Officer

Job Description

  • Assist in preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Manage the organization's cash flow, ensuring adequate funds are available for day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks affecting the organization's financial performance
  • Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide financial advice to management on a variety of topics, such as budgeting, forecasting, and taxation
  • Assist in Implementing and maintaining strong internal control measures to safeguard the organization's financial assets and prevent fraud.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Handling daily administration for the team
  • Managing end to end operation of Projects
  • Monitor bank accounts and reconcile financial transactions regularly.
  • Assist in auditing financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports to relevant authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and financial guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

Salary
N90,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
