Covenant Microfinance Bank Limited - Incorporated as a private limited liability company on May 6, 2003 and commenced operations on March 15, 2004 as Covenant University Community Bank Limited (CUCB LTD). Converted to a Microfinance Bank in line with Central Bank of Nigeria’s directive to all Community Banks and commenced business as such on January 11, 2008.Granted license to operate as a State Microfinance Bank in December, 2012 having met the prescribed N100 million minimum capital requirement. In 2014, became one of the first Microfinance Banks to generate the 10-digit Nigeria Uniform Bank Account Number (NUBAN) for all its customers after successfully signing up for integration to NCS.

Job Position: Branch Manager

Job Locations: Abeokuta, Akute and Ifo Branch, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Our company seek for the position of the branch manager as the chief marketing and administrative officer of the branch, and also to be couple as the lead credit officer of the branch.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the general administration of the branch.
  • Leads the marketing team of the branch in a coordinated customer acquisition driver.
  • Marketing appraisal and packaging of credits for deseving customers.
  • Determine staffing gaps and make requests to head office for the employment of suitable personnel to fill such gaps.
  • Ensure the security of the branch personnel and assets.
  • Provide training, coaching development and motivation for the staff.
  • Prepareation and managerment of branch budget.
  • Efficient cost management.
  • Maintain excellect customer relationship.
  • Develop asset and liability products in line with the peculiarities of his catchment market in order to deepen the bank’s market share.
  • Assess areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Liase with security agencies to ensure adequate police cover for the branch.
  • Ensure that all branch staff comply with the CMFB dress and work culture at all times.

Requirements

  • First Degree or HND in Business Administartion or other social sciences
  • Minimum of five years of experience in microfinance bank either in business developement or as a branch manager
  • Must have a working knowledge of the location of the branch.
