Advanced Engineering Consultants (AEC) provides complete consulting services from the initial investigation stages, through feasibility studies, inventory, condition survey, outline planning, production of detailed designs, preparation of contract documents, evaluation of tenders to construction supervision with successful completion of design and supervision for various types of projects.

Job Position: Civil Engineer

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

• We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with Design and Construction Management experience on Highway infrastructural projects to join our team.

Job Description
Description includes but not limited to the following:

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and lead activities of all project to ensure that goal, objectives, and all elements are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Responsible for supervision of contractor daily activities, all sub-contractor / sub-consultant, vendors, and all planning / administrative staff assigned to all project to ensure it is on schedule and within budget.
• Responsible for overall quality or project in line with the required contract/construction standards and ensure all works are satisfactory done under relevant quality control test in line with specification and agreed standard.
• Scheduling and conducting status meeting and preparing status report (Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly status report as required by the respective contract)
• Review construction documents (Drawings, reports and specification) and recommend technical solutions.
• Measurement and valuation / generate payment certificate (in collaboration with the project quantity surveyor where appropriate)

Requirements
Interested candidates should possess:

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc in Civil Engineering
• NYSC Discharge certificate
• Minimum of 4 years post NYSC experience.
• Registration with COREN is an Added advantage
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is an added advantage
