Job Position: HR Executive
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating the completion of required paperwork.
  • Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data.
  • Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
  • Handle inquiries and requests from employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, providing timely and accurate information and guidance.
  • Assist with HR compliance activities, including maintaining knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations, monitoring compliance, and recommending updates to policies and procedures as needed.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance appraisals, goal-setting, and feedback collection.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including conducting investigations, documenting findings, and providing guidance on disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects, programs, and initiatives to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Generate reports and analytics from HRIS and other systems to support decision-making and HR metrics tracking.
  • Participate in HR team meetings, projects, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in HR roles, with demonstrated proficiency in HR functions and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Very High Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • SHRM-CP, CIPM or PHR certification is a plus.
