Job Description

  • The Human Resource/Admin Executive shall be responsible for the effective and smooth running and administration of the office as well as the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including the core functions of Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Administration of Compensation and benefits, Learning and Development.
  • The incumbent shall be responsible for the development and enforcement of Company policies and procedures, maintenance of the corporate culture and core values of the Company, maintenance of all employee and Company records and interfacing with all employees and external parties to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day administration and management of the office and provide all necessary administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
  • Maintain good client relationships and manage business stakeholders.
  • Provide support to all employees on various Human Resource related issues and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activities such as recruitments, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, payroll, training, exits, employee statistics, etc.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention and promote HR programs to create a conducive and conflict-free workplace
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Coordinate activities throughout the company to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy
  • Manage agendas, travel plans and appointments for upper management
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence
  • Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures
  • Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed
  • Process internal arrangements such as travel, training sessions, and team-building events.
  • Maintain all internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company and employee documentation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all personnel queries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the MD/CEO.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, Law or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cognate post NYSC experience in similar HR/ADMIN role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with experience of presenting complex/high impacting proposals to executive management level audiences
  • Excellent planning & organizing skills with the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Effective Stakeholder management skills.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / Month.
