Job Position: Intermediate Backend Developer (C# /.NET)

Job Location: Ogudu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an Intermediate Backend Developer with strong experience in C# and .NET to develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems and APIs.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and collaborating with local and remote teams.

Key Responsiblities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Design and consume RESTful APIs
• Implement data access and business logic using Entity Framework Core
• Work with SQL Server and other relational databases
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment platforms
• Ensure backend security, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions
• Support deployment and production fixes when required.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• 3 - 5 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core
• Good understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server
• Experience using Git (GitHub/GitLab)
• Basic understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with payment gateways (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe)
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Swagger / OpenAPI.
