We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Quantity Surveyor

Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Role Description


  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor at Tilden Development Limited.
  • The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.
  • They will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction management or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and possess experience as a site engineer
  • Professional qualification in NIQS or any other related certification is an added advantage
  • PMP certification is an added advantage
  • Sound knowledge of Construction Industry Practices, regulations and standards
  • Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning skills
  • Planning and overseeing, allocating resources, materials and equipment to optimise project efficiency
  • Experience working with Auto CAD and validating quantities from the given drawings
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of Construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standard
  • Experience working on various Construction projects, including residential and commercial sites
  • Knowledge of service guidelines such as the National building code (NBC), ANSI/ASHRAE for HVAC and LEED for green buildings
  • Experience in BOQ preparation and cost reporting
  • Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Quantity take off software
  • Ability to manage multiple Construction Projects at various stages of their life cycle
  • Professional certification or membership in relevant organizations is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

2.) Business Development Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for leading and executing the company’s growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and forging strategic partnerships. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the real estate, technology, or PropTech industries, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic acumen, and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall business development strategy, focusing on revenue generation, market expansion, and key partnerships.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets, both locally and internationally. Build relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate, property management, and technology sectors.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with potential clients, partners, investors, and industry influencers. Act as a trusted advisor to existing clients, driving satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end process of deal creation, structuring, and closing agreements. Ensure successful collaboration between all relevant teams (Sales, Legal, etc.) for seamless deal execution.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Work closely with the Sales team to identify target markets, key accounts, and sales tactics. Set sales targets and track performance to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Market Insights and Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to improve the company’s offerings and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on strategic goals, market needs, and product offerings.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team. Set clear objectives and provide guidance, training, and support to help the team meet targets.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Previous experience in PropTech, real estate, or technology sectors is highly preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the PropTech market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. Familiarity with real estate technology solutions, property management software, and digital transformation in real estate is a plus.
  • Strategic and Results-Oriented: Strong ability to create and execute a long-term business development strategy. Proven track record of generating revenue, securing strategic partnerships, and driving growth.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading complex negotiations and closing high-value deals.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage a high-performing team.

3.) Human Resources Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of HR experience.
  • As an experienced HR Officer, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of HR policies and practices that foster a positive work environment and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
  • Conduct interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to identify top talent.
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the administration of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong background in general HR functions.
  • HR certification i.e CIPM, PHRI is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
