Women without Walls Initiative (WOWWI) is a non-governmental,non-sectarian and all-inclusive organization, comprised of progressive Nigerian women from every facet of life.WOWWI has formed a coalition of women groups nationally and internationally, to fight for, and advance the cause of women, youth, and children, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliation. We are made up of ordinary women who are concerned about our environment, society, and the world at large, especially as it affects, women, youths, and children.WOWWI began as a child of necessity. Our vision isto develop a non-violent, creative, and inclusive approach to conflict resolution and transformation in Nigeria, through women who are natural agents for social and national change.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Communication Specialist
Job Location: Jos, Plateau
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Profile
- Community mapping
- Organize and manage support groups
- Manage event files
- Prepare case studies (documentation)
- Maintain a directory of services, key influencers
- Maintain information on the number of beneficiaries reached
- Participate in outreach
- Skill building where possible
Qualifications
- First Degree in Communication, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in community-level work and communication

2.) Project Manager
Job Location: Jos, Plateau
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Profile
- Focal for Project
- Oversees recruitment of staff
- Oversee budget implementation
- Monitor implementation of the work plan
- Supervise field staff – staff schedules
- Ensure compliance with the Project Proposal
- Establishes and maintains service linkages
- Lead advocacy and community mobilization
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial and narrative reports
- Developing an annual work plan
- Data collection and M&E
- Guide the process of Community Mapping
Qualifications
- First Degree / Higher National Diploma,
- 7 years of work experience with 3 years additional work experience in community intervention or related field

3.) Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer
Job Location: Jos, Plateau
Employment Type: Full-time
Overall Job Description
- To provide high-level confidential support to the Chief Executive by providing a full secretarial and administrative service.
- Ensuring that effective planning and administrative systems are in place and maintained efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- To act as a first point of contact dealing with correspondence and phone calls
- To proactively manage and coordinate the diary of the Chief Executive by prioritizing and arranging internal and external meetings, ensuring appropriate briefing papers are prepared and provided.
- Plan and organize travel and accommodation when required
- To set upmeetingsrequired by the CEOby drafting and collating papers and reports, preparing manageable agendas, taking minutes and following up on action points.
- Carry out all the duties with complete discretion and a high regard for confidentiality.
- Maintain effective filling and data storage including emails and retrieval systems
- ensuring the needs of the Chief executive are met.
- To provide full personal assistant support by dealing with all correspondence and calls, drafting routine letters to a high standard, minute meetings, taking messages and other administrative tasks as required to support the Chief Executive.
- Any other duties relevant to the needs of the organization and as directed.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
