Sunlight Resources Limited - A business venture between father and son, Fun Snax began way back in 2005 when the dynamic duo first launched their light and fluffy cheeseballs, in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria.

It was thanks to the success of these cheesy snacks that the pair then went onto design and craft new products for the range. Spending hours obsessing over new and exciting flavours, Fun Snax soon saw the launch of the brand’s ever-popular potato chips and their tangy shrimp crackers. Since then our brand has gone from strength to strength and we have been delighted to introduce to the range a selection of cereals, biscuits, cornflakes, sweets and most recently our delightfully sweet popcorn, which is fast becoming our ultimate snack.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Manager

Job Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Application Timing: Urgently Required

Job Responsibility

• Ensure all transportation and logistics activities are carried out effectively.
• Co-ordinate and track the movement of goods through logistic pathways.
• Ensure deliveries are made on schedules.
• Review rates and other transportation costs to keep it as low as possible.
• Negotiate with 3rd party and vendors and arrive at the most cost-effective price
• Ensure vehicles maintenance and servicing are done as at when due, keeping track of
• Monthly maintenance schedule chart
• Come up with efficient cost-saving mechanisms to be applied in logistics operations
• Ensure a high degree of discipline is maintained amongst drivers
• Come up with a realistic budget proposal for the required period of time for the department as the case may be.
• Manage company vehicles.
• Transporter’s handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational standard: HND / B.Sc in Logistics, Transport Warehouse Management, Accounting.
• Professional Qualification, MBA an added advantage.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a logistics assistant at a large warehouse in a manufacturing company
• Minimum Working Experience: 7 Years and Above in a logistics role, Transport, Fleet management role.

• Honest and trustworthy.
• Good communications skills.
• MS Office knowledge is a must.

Job Specification:
