We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) UX Writer 

Job Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • We're looking for an excellent UX writer with experience working on fintech apps and websites.
  • If you pay attention to detail and you're keen on doing user research, simplifying user interaction flows, and helping users understand products, you'll be a great fit at Kuda.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit clear UX copy
  • Provide functional and editorial quality assurance on copy
  • Edit copy for user guides
  • Lead copy coherence efforts across apps and websites
  • Understand and use our style guide and brand tone
  • Use customer data to define copy direction and improvements
  • Work with the Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, Graphic Design and Motion Design teams.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience writing user-facing UX copy for apps and websites, preferably at a fintech.
  • A portfolio of writing and content samples
  • Experience working with customer research
  • A passion for apps and simple user journeys
  • A collaborative approach to work
  • Some experience working with interaction and visual design would be a bonus.

2.) Copywriter

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, publications and websites.
  • Your words will inform and engage target audiences. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail.
  • If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Conduct high-quality research and interviews
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a copywriter or related role
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

3.) IOS Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a result-driven and analytical software engineer to work on our native iOS mobile application.
  • You'll use your sound understanding of programming tools and languages to analyze current codes, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems and create a fantastic experience for users.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and build applications for the iOS platform
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of industry experience (ideally working in a start-up or scale-up)
  • Proficient with Swift Packet Manager and Cocoa Touch
  • Proficiency with UIKit/SwiftUI in building user interfaces
  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and human interface guidelines
  • Experience with performance and memory management tools such as Profile Instruments
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
  • Familiar with CI/CD.
