Fusion Consulting - Our client, a leading Telecommunications Service Provider in Nigeria, which is poised to expand its operations and product/services through the launch of a Mobile Money offering is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Managing Director - Mobile Money
Job Location: Nigeria
 
Responsibilities
Amongst the incumbent’s key responsibilities will be:

• Lead, direct, and build this strategically important business unit
• Oversee all operations and business activities in line with overall strategy and mission
• Create and drive strategies for Mobile Financial Services products that deliver tangible results
• Build trust relationships with key strategic partners and stakeholders
• Advise, influence and engage widely with peers & executives across the broader company and group
• Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions and improvements
• Hands-on project management in order to lead solution and/or product design, development, testing and roll-out

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in technical Engineering or Business field
• MBA will be an advantage
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in mobile money and/or banking operations, ideally in a Telco environment, Bank Payments, or Fintech
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset, and outstanding organisational and leadership skills
