Job Description


  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our team.
  • The PMO will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion.
  • This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity of project goals, expectations, and deliverables.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources effectively to support project objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Track resource utilization and identify opportunities for optimization or reallocation.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Proactively monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, taking appropriate actions to minimize impact.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular progress reports and status updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and change requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software Primavera
  • PMP certification is a plus.
