The Southeast Community Development Forum (SECDF) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development, social empowerment, and community welfare in the southeastern region of Nigeria. We work to uplift communities by addressing local needs through collaborative projects, policy advocacy, and resource mobilization.

Job Position: Project Manager
Job Location: Enugu

Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented, and proactive Project Manager to oversee and manage key community development projects within the southeastern region.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, community engagement, and capacity building, with the ability to drive projects from inception to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee community development projects that align with SECDF’s mission and goals.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Supervise and mentor project staff and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
- Coordinate with local government officials, stakeholders, and community leaders to ensure successful project execution.
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of projects are conducted to assess progress and impact.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to the Executive Director and donors.
- Partner with other NGOs, businesses, and government agencies to enhance project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of project management experience, with proven success in implementing large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of the socio-economic challenges and opportunities in Southeast Nigeria.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge of donor requirements, reporting, and compliance is an advantage.
