Job Position: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
  • Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
  • Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
  • Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years work experience.

Job Position: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Carries out safety audits on Sub-contractors.
  • Liaises between Clients on safety related issues.
  • Safeties related engineering input into new projects and modification programs.
  • Participates to HAZOP meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.
  • Performs Risk Assessment.
  • Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.
  • Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
  • dance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
  • Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
  • Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
  • Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
  • Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
  • Takes part in accident / incident investigation.
  • Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
  • Provides technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects.
  • Carries out any in-house safety training

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Science / Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems.
  • 10 or above years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment and Fire Services in hydrocarbon processing plant, of which 6 years should be in a supervisory capacity, 5 years in gas plant or refinery operations.
  • Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System, Incident Investigation by using Tripod Beta Tool, HSE Auditing Techniques, HEMP, Radiological Safety,
  • Industrial Hygiene, and Gas Dispersion, Modelling, Explosion Indices and ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Good knowledge of English.

Job Position: Cost Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Use computer software to calculate estimates
  • Evaluate a product’s cost-effectiveness or profitability
  • Develop project plans for the duration of the project
  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses factors
  • Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates and resolve issues
  • Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates
  • Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable
  • Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients
  • Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering or relevant field.

Job Position: Civil Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Developing detailed designs.
  • Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections.
  • Preparing and implementing project plans.
  • Researching and providing estimates for projects.
  • Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
  • Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
  • Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
  • Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry knowledge may be strongly desired.
  • Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
  • Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
  • Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.

Job Position: Community Relations Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains relationships with members of the community.
  • Plans, develops, implements, and organizes events and volunteers to advance the mission and goals of the company.
  • Organizes community outreach programs and coordinates special events that will influence public opinion or promote products, services, or ideas of the company.
  • Uses social media to coordinate community relations.
  • Drafts and distributes/publishes various content pieces that promote the company, as well as individuals or groups within the company.
  • Selects positive publicity materials and distributes them through a variety of channels.
  • Responds to inquiries from community members and other interested parties; when needed, recruits a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist.
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes special events and press conferences.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
