Mind Smith - We are a full-time online school, based in Lagos, Nigeria and serving students around the world. We offer a full curriculum across all subjects to all ages of learners, from preschool to high school. Live interactive video classes are held everyday with our rich diversity of students from different countries. If parents ever wish to transfer their children to physical schooling, we provide all the documents and necessary help to ensure a smooth transition to any preferred school across the globe. Job Summary

  • We're looking for a skilled Secretary/Accountant to provide administrative support, manage financial records, and ensure the smooth operation of our online school.
  • As a Secretary/Accountant at Mind Smith Online School, you will be responsible for handling sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality, and providing exceptional support to our team.

Responsibilities
Administrative Support:

  • Manage schedules, calendars, and correspondence
  • Provide administrative assistance to staff and management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Accounting and Finance:

  • Manage financial records, including invoicing, payments, and expenses
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies

Communication:

  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with staff, students, and external partners

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
