Currently, we are looking for qualified and talented individuals to fill the following vacancies in our company;

Job Position:  ARCHITECT

• A right-brained Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction.
• You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion.
• The goal is to match client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
• co-ordinating the work of contractors
• making site visits to check on progress
• Follow architectural trends and advancements
• Compile project specifications
• Keep within budgets and timelines
• dealing with problems that might come up during building
• preparing and presenting design proposals to clients
• advising clients
• producing detailed drawings
• negotiating with contractors and other professionals

SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

• have strong visual awareness and an eye for detail
• be able to organise projects
• have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problem solving
• have time management skills
• be self-confident and able to cope with criticism of their work
• Follow architectural trends and advancements
• have good drawing skills, with the ability to work in three dimensions (3D)
• have reasonable mathematical skills
• have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• have presentation and project management skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Familiar with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
• Ability to drive
• HND/BS degree in Architecture or similar
• Proven 5 years working experience as an architect
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
