A reputable Group of Companies with diversified interest in Banking, Real Estate and Telecommunications, due to expansion needs is seeking to recruit young, highly competent, talented and self-motivated individuals to fill the position below:

Job Position: Experienced Bank Teller
Job Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Processing customer deposits, withdrawals, and payments
• Supporting the bank sales team by identifying customer needs and then promoting current offers to them
• Referring customers with financial problems to other support teams for assistance
• Cross-sell bank services as required
• Performing clerical and administrative duties
• Following bank procedures when performing transactions
• Controlling and monitoring the levels of cash in the teller drawer and following all check cashing and cash handling procedures
• Providing first level customer service especially dealing tactfully and efficiently with demanding customers
• Adhering to all bank security, audit, and compliance requirements
• Reporting any suspicious customer activity to bank managers
• Addressing customers by name with a smile and direct eye contact
• Accurately receiving, counting and distributing cash
• Selling financial services
• Assisting with bank branch audits
• Opening new customer accounts
• Opening investor accounts
• Writing reports and correspondence on matters related to customer accounts.

Qualifications/Essential Experience

• University Degree in a Business Disciplines, Social Sciences and Humanities
• At least 2 years work experience in a financial Institution and similar positions will be added advantage
• Familiar with bank products and services the Nigerian Market High levels of confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions
• Outgoing and with ability to create rapport with customers
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Good in information analysis and decision-making
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A team player.
