Job Description

• The Facility Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s physical infrastructure, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations while enhancing the efficiency and comfort of our working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
• Track expenses and optimize cost efficiency.
• Approve purchase orders and manage vendor relationships.
• Plan and allocate space for various activities.
• Conduct regular inspections and safety audits.
• Develop and implement safety policies and emergency procedures.
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget.
• Manage office layouts and workspace optimization.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Manage waste reduction and recycling programs.
• Provide training and development opportunities.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage team schedules.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for facility-related services.
• Manage contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain positive relationships.
• Lead facility-related projects from planning to execution.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain documentation and records as required.
• Handle permits, licenses, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years in facilities management or a similar role.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
