Job Position: Fleet Operation Officer

Job Location: Coker, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the company's fleets.
  • Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and meet safety standards.
  • Develop efficient and cost-effective route plans
  • Stay updated on local and national transportation regulations.
  • Ensure that all fleetdriverscomply with relevant laws and regulations in Nigeria.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise drivers to ensure they adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Continuously optimize routes to enhancevehicleefficiency and reduce transit time.
  • Implement and oversee aperiodicpreventive maintenance program for all fleet vehicles& bikes
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external service providers to ensure timely repairs and inspections.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and manage budgets for fleets, including fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and vehicle acquisitions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize operational expenses.
  • Generate regular reports on fleet performance, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and on-time delivery metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.

Qualification

  • 2 years of experience.
